Our History

Attitude Development International (ADI) is a registered counselling educational organization dedicated to supporting the emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs of men, women and children in the society. The organization believes that vital to transforming a nation is equipping the citizens with the right attitude and knowledge about psychological wellbeing.

Attitude Development International was birth in 2002 by Dr. Timi Oyebode evolving first as Agape Household engaging refugees at Oru-Ijebu refugee camp, then in 2006 as Attitude Development Centre engaging secondary school students on Student Success Manual before being officially registered in March 2015 as Attitude Development International with the aim

of providing counselling services, equipping counsellors and promoting professional counselling in Africa. In 2019, the institution was approved by the Ministry of Education as Attitude Development International Counselling School. The name ADI College of Counselling & Psychotherapy Nigeria was adopted and approved in 2023. Over 3500 students had passed through our institution since inception.

Hence having graduated a large number of professionals in the industry today from Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Togo, Canada, USA, Australia equipped with our various cognitive-centered courses and services designed with the African culture and context in view, to provide solutions to challenges in a non-threatening environment, Our Counseling Arm at ADI is vibrant with several actively working, certified and qualified counselors across Africa and beyond. We remain focus on promoting Mental Health and professional counselling to individuals, families, communities, Governmental and Religious bodies.
